The body of the blobfish is gelatinous and has a lower density than seawater, allowing it to float in the water. Because it looks like a sad face, it is called the "fish with the saddest expression in the world".
The blobfish lives at the bottom of the sea at a depth of up to 800 meters. Because it is difficult to reach the habitat of this fish, it is rarely discovered by humans. It once won the championship of "The World's Ugliest Animal" held by the Ugly Animal Preservation Society in the UK.
