The amount of food to feed angelfish at one time should be determined according to the size and number of the fish. For angelfish kept at home, they are generally fed 1 - 2 times a day. The amount of food per feeding should be such that the fish can finish it within 5 - 10 minutes. If a large number of angelfish are being raised, they need to be fed 2 - 3 times a day. Breeding fish are usually fed 3 - 4 times a day.

Feeding Amounts for Angelfish at Different Stages
Juvenile Fish (body length less than 5 cm): They are in a period of rapid growth. They can be fed 4 - 6 times a day, and the amount of food per feeding should be such that the juvenile fish can finish it within 2 - 3 minutes.
Sub - adult Fish (body length 5 - 10 cm): They still have a relatively fast growth rate. Feed them 3 - 4 times a day, and it is best if they can finish the food within 3 - 4 minutes per feeding.
Adult Fish (body length greater than 10 cm): Feed them 1 - 2 times a day, and the amount of food per feeding should be such that they can finish it within 5 - 6 minutes.
The Rearing Environment and Management of Angelfish
Angelfish don't have high requirements for water quality. They are suitable for living in weakly acidic water, and the water temperature should be controlled between 24 - 28°C. Within this temperature range, angelfish have a good appetite, a fast growth rate, and are not affected by external temperature changes. In addition, angelfish can be kept with other tropical fish, but avoid keeping them with tiger barbs of the Cyprinidae family, because tiger barbs like to bite the anal and caudal fins of angelfish.
