Generally speaking, parrotfish will spawn once every 7 to 10 days. Adult parrotfish can spawn 3 to 4 times a month.

The frequency of parrotfish spawning is related to factors such as the living environment and nutritional status. If the water temperature reaches 28 degrees Celsius and the water quality remains weakly acidic for a long time, parrotfish may be able to spawn once every 5 to 7 days. If the water temperature is lower than 25 degrees Celsius and the water quality is relatively poor, then they may only be able to spawn once every 10 to 15 days.
